Amanpulo or peaceful island, is I would probably say synonymous to spectacular. It is a breathtaking splurge of mother nature’s display of grandeur. A perfect getaway for those who seeks seclusion from the ruins of men and into the opulence of nature. It is a paradise you can call your own. It is highly recommended for those who are seeking the ultimate romantic vacation for it is an isolated haven and a private refuge. Of course, it does come at a high price due to its high-end standards and accommodations.

Rates may vary from $880 to as high as $3930 depending on the rooms availed. These rates may also change per season. Do note that these rates does not include service charges and taxes, as well as the roundtrip airfare which costs $400 for adults and $200 for children. The island is serviced by a Dornier 228-220K, a 19-seater charter plane flying from Manila, which is used to ferry customers and to bring supplies to the resort. This is the only means of getting in and out of the island for guests which gives the feeling of remoteness from civilization. As for the employees, most of them come from the nearby island of Manamoc.

Amanpulo is set on its own private island, Pamalican which is part of the Quiniluban group of Cuyo island in the Sulu Sea. It is flanked by coral reefs, rimmed with crystal clear waters and fringed with powdery white-sand beaches. These properties of the island and its neighboring isles are very well tailor-made for both water-sports enthusiasts and sunbathers alike.

For an island of such a small size, guests will find themselves isolated from the rest of the world but will be completely overwhelmed by the island’s sheer attractions.  They’ll never run out of things to do. The resort offers a wide variety of recreational activities both inland and in the water which include diving, snorkelling, fishing, sailing, windsurfing, beachcombing, sunset cruising, kayaking, fish-feeding and picnicking on a neighboring island. . Inland, you might enjoy a game of tennis, gym, a swim on the pool, exploring the island with your own personal golf cart, hiking or you may simply bask under the sun totally undisturbed. And if you crave for relaxation, the open-air garden and beach salas are available for pleasurable holistic body treatments.

Guest dwellings are called casitas and villas. There are 40 casitas fashioned after the Philippines very own century-old home - bahay-kubo. The casitas will provide magical sea views, comfortable pleasures, and enchanting romantic hideout.

The island is simply a feast for the eyes. Truly remarkable, designed by nature, for your own pleasure.
